With various divisions and approximately 37,000 employees worldwide, they are active in the production of a wide range of steel products. These include tubes, mining and construction machinery, stainless steel, special steel alloys, and industrial heating solutions. The Venlo facility plays a key role within the company. Although they do not produce steel parts themselves, they are responsible for the entire logistics process. They ensure that all locations worldwide are supplied timely and efficiently, allowing the entire production network to operate smoothly.
Your day begins in the warehouse, where you and your colleagues go over the daily schedule. You'll start by packing a variety of products, ranging from small parts to heavy machine components. You'll use the forklift and overhead crane to move heavier items, always keeping safety in mind. While unloading a truck, you'll carefully position heavy machinery using the overhead crane. After a half-hour break, you'll continue collecting orders, ensuring everything is ready for shipment. You finish the day by checking the final products and preparing them for transport.
