As HSE Officer, you will play a vital role in shaping our safety culture. You will conduct risk assessments, recommend improvements to production and working methods, and collaborate with management on essential HSE investments. Your proactive and reactive measures will help us maintain compliance with relevant legislation and corporate standards, ensuring that safety is a priority across all levels of the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and recommend enhancements to production processes, workplace organization, and the use of machinery and hazardous substances;
- Work closely with managers to ensure all employee and contractor activities comply with legislative requirements;
- Review proposed purchases and projects to ensure they meet HSE standards from the outset;
- Oversee adherence to global standards and company-wide HSE initiatives, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001;
- Analyze work situations using Risk Assessment & Evaluations (RI&E) and ensure action plans are effectively executed;
- Provide essential health and safety training, particularly for new employees, to foster a culture of safety throughout the organization.

Wat we verwachten
En waar we op hameren
- At least 5 years in an HSE-related role, preferably within manufacturing;
- Strong knowledge of HSE legal requirements and a commitment to safety;
- Excellent verbal and written English skills to effectively convey safety information;
- Experience with HSE Management Systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001), incident registration systems, and auditing techniques;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
- Ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail.
