As a CNC operator in the finishing department, you will take charge of independently managing and operating multiple CNC and NC machines. Your role will involve updating and correcting data in SAP, precisely measuring components, and actively contributing to process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Operate various CNC and NC machines efficiently and accurately;
- Manufacture wear parts based on technical specifications and drawings;
- Conduct quality inspections using advanced measuring tools to ensure compliance with standards;
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace by adhering to safety regulations and the 6S methodology;
- Apply APS systems (Lean/Six Sigma) to improve productivity and optimize processes.

- A monthly salary between €2.744 and €3.334, depending on experience (excluding shift allowances);
- Compensation for additional hours worked;
- A dynamic position within a growing company with opportunities for career development;
- Travel allowance of €0.19 per kilometer.
Wat we verwachten
En waar we op hameren
- Experience operating machinery (preferably Fanuc and Siemens) with a technical background;
- An MBO Level 2 diploma or equivalent, ideally in metalworking or a technical field;
- Willingness to participate in additional training and assist other departments when needed;
- Availability to work in a 3-shift system: early shift (05:30-14:00), late shift (14:00-22:30), and night shift (22:30-05:30), including a 30-minute break;
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings;
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and World-Class Manufacturing to drive process improvements;
- Flexibility to work overtime when required.

Your day starts with a briefing to review the production plan and any updates from previous shifts. You then set up and calibrate your CNC and NC machines, ensuring they’re ready to produce high-quality components. Once the machines are running, you monitor their performance, inspect parts for precision using specialized tools, and make adjustments as needed. Throughout the day, you’ll log data in SAP, keeping records accurate and up-to-date. Safety is always a priority, so you’ll follow protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Collaboration is key—you’ll communicate with team members to optimize processes and troubleshoot any challenges. Whether it’s contributing to Lean Manufacturing projects or improving production flow, every task you complete helps drive efficiency. By the end of your shift, you’ll leave knowing your work has directly contributed to high-quality products.
