The job
At EU Facility Services, the facility label of Covebo, we believe in “Simply well organized.”
This means: good housing, clear rules and practical solutions. Together we make sure our international employees feel welcome and can live comfortably during their time in the Netherlands.
Because quality is important to us, we are looking for someone who is hands-on, technical and can keep an overview. In this role you are an important part of our technical team!
Your tasks
- Setting up and furnishing (new) accommodation in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and SNF standards.
- Painting walls, replacing flooring, maintaining gardens and carrying out minor repairs and maintenance, such as replacing or installing lights, hanging curtains, etc.
- Identifying any issues or irregularities, discussing them with your colleagues and working together to find the best solution.
- Delivering furniture, equipment and other items to House of Covebo accommodation.
- Clearing out accommodation that is no longer being used by our international employees.
- Ensuring that house rules and safety regulations are followed, because safety always comes first!

- A gross starting salary from €2,600 per month, depending on your knowledge and experience.
- An attractive bonus scheme of up to €1,000 per year.

- We build your pension together. This consists of a basic part and a (voluntary) flexible part. For the basic part you pay 33.33% of the premium, and for the flexible part 100%.

As a Housing & Maintenance Worker you will have a very varied, international job where you work independently. You are always in contact with different departments and colleagues, and you contribute to building a world of work that is “Simply well arranged.” You are communicative, stress-resistant, and good at planning and setting priorities. For this role we are looking for a real doer, someone who does not mind rolling up their sleeves to take care of small technical tasks. Additionally:
- You are interested in technology, or you are looking for a good job where you can further develop your technical skills.
- You speak Dutch and/or English.
- You have a driving licence (B).
- You live in the Nijkerk area, from where you carry out assignments throughout the Netherlands (we can assist with accommodation if needed).
- You are available full-time.

Tof dat je bij ons wilt werken! Op basis van je cv nemen we telefonisch contact met je op voor een korte eerste kennismaking. Als we allebei enthousiast zijn plannen we een afspraak in met de manager van de afdeling waar je hebt gesolliciteerd.
In het eerste gesprek is het tijd om echt kennis te maken! Is er een klik? Dan kunnen wij je vragen om online een korte test te maken. Tijdens een tweede gesprek gaan we verder de diepte in. Wanneer er een match is, ontvang je een voorstel van ons.
Is het contract rond, dan kan het feest beginnen! Je volgt eerst introductiedagen om onze organisatie te leren kennen. Daarna is er een inwerkperiode waarbij je wordt gekoppeld aan een ervaren collega. Zo zorgen we ervoor dat je snel up and running bent!
