Looking for an active warehouse job with night shift allowances and room to grow?
Like a warehouse job where you can stay active and see the results of your work? As a logistics employee in the cross-dock department, you help get electronics from incoming deliveries to outgoing trucks and on their way to customers.
You unload goods, check and sort shipments, and move them to the right place using a pallet jack. You also help load the trucks so drivers can start their routes on time. Because many shipments go directly to customers, you work at a good pace while handling every item with care.
Your work keeps the warehouse moving and helps customers receive their electronics on time and in excellent condition.
What do you get in return?
What do you bring to this warehouse job?
Our client, based in Zeewolde, is a leading family-owned company specializing in the logistics of electronic goods. From a modern and secure warehouse, they serve the entire Benelux region with warehousing, fulfilment, and distribution for prominent retail partners such as Coolblue, Bol.com, and MediaMarkt. With an ambitious sustainability policy including the electrification of their vehicle fleet and a close-knit, people-oriented team, this organization offers a pleasant working environment where everyone is valued and recognized.
You start your shift with a short team meeting to discuss the incoming deliveries and shipments that need to leave for customers. Then it’s time to get moving in the cross-dock warehouse. You unload goods, check shipments and use a pallet jack to move everything to the right place.
Together with your colleagues, you prepare outgoing orders and load the trucks so drivers can leave on time. It’s active, varied work, and your team helps each other when things get busy.
Once you know your way around the warehouse and its systems, you can take on more responsibility. This may include parking and preparing trucks and supporting the outbound logistics team. At the end of your shift, you can see exactly what you’ve achieved: the shipments are on their way to customers.
