Wat ga je allemaal doen?
As a Logistics Foreman, you are responsible for achieving the set goals and effectively managing your team. If goals are not met, it’s not a problem—as long as you can explain why and provide insights into what caused the deviation. This allows the team to review situations together and identify ways to improve processes and optimize performance. Having relevant leadership experience is important, as it helps you accurately assess and handle these situations.
In your role, you spend about 80% of your time leading the team, but occasionally you will need to step in and assist with operational tasks. This sets a good example and helps prevent potential issues. When other departments experience higher workloads, you are aware of the situation and can reallocate team members as needed to support colleagues and ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities of a Logistics Foreman:
- Independently oversee a shift, assigning tasks and providing clear work instructions, while ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion.
- Support the supervisor and step in during their absence to maintain team performance.
- Detect, troubleshoot, and prevent issues with machinery to avoid downtime.
- Manage the receipt, cleaning, sorting, storage, and dispatch of products efficiently.
- Maintain a safe working environment and monitor compliance with safety procedures.

- Weekly salary payment.
- Salary indication:
- Depending on experience, between €2,900 and €3,480.
- Shift work with allowances:
- Current: 2 shifts (early-late), including weekends.
- Future: 3 shifts (early-late-night), including weekends.
- Candidates must be flexible and willing to adjust to evolving shift structures.
- Travel allowance.

Wat we verwachten
En waar we op hameren
- Minimum 12 to 18 months of leadership experience, preferably in a (production) logistics environment.
- Solid background in logistics or production.
- Good command of English (spoken and written); Dutch is a plus.
- Familiarity with 5S and lean methodologies is preferred.
- Understanding of safe working practices.
- MBO working and thinking level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical affinity and experience working with machinery is a strong asset.
